Connect is an under-development cross-platform application, designed specifically to control Ranger, and incorporating tools and services to assist your team.
The ResQ Vision is one of autonomy and optimisation. In line with Ranger's intelligent design, Connect presents the user with a radically efficient control panel. Points of interest are clearly mapped, along with high-resolution imagery, video clips, and more.
Connect simplifies your missions by providing an autopilot interface. Define search areas, orbit paths, or let Ranger loiter autonomously within visual line of sight of your team.
Features
From startup to shutdown, Connect minimises risk. Checklists and procedures are integrated into software, substituting paper charts. Access a health overview of Ranger at any time, displaying live telemetry and equipment statuses. Trigger an emergency autoland at any time, and define geofences freely.
For teams requiring maximum flexibility, Connect transforms into a mobile RC controller. Operators may control Ranger using virtual control sticks, or access an intelligent camera interface, allowing effective operation in all circumstances.
Powered by Ground Station, Connect allows multiple users to access Ranger's telemetry simultaneously. Designate a qualified individual as the Pilot, and remain conformant to CAA regulations, while effortlessly exchanging data between your team members
Beyond drone control, Connect will incorporate networked tools, collecting and recording data on searched areas to be reviewed later. Use Connect's file transfer function to exchange imagery and video to distant team members, or configure push notifications to receive real-time updates from Ranger throughout your expedition.
